Open Day Palestine Philharmonie
On the 12th of January, we were invited to participate in the Open Day of the Bethlehem Philharmonie at the Bethlehem Convention Palace. Sounds of Palestine’s children from the Al-Majdal group had an exciting day with diverse cultural activities: they first visited the beautiful museum next to the Solomon’s Pools, learning about their cultural heritage. Afterwards they practiced two songs during a choir workshop from the wonderful choir conductor of Amwaj Choir, Mathilde Vittu. Then they learned some acrobatic skills during a circus workshop, after which they were ready for the big event: watching a performance of the French baroque violinist Amandine Beyer and the Bethlehem Strings, and, together with other local choirs, joining on the stage for the two songs they practiced earlier that day. Thank you Bethlehem Philharmonie for this inspiring day!
