Malak Bannoura

Born in Beit Sahour, Palestine, Malak Bannoura earned her Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Music from Birzeit University.

She is a passionate musician and educator and has been teaching qanoun at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music since 2019, where she also served as the academic supervisor for the Jerusalem branch. Her teaching experience extends to renowned music schools such as Ibda’a Dheisheh, Lajee Center, and Itar.

An accomplished performer, Malak is an active member of several ensembles at the Edward Said Conservatory. She has represented Palestine on international stages, including performances in Prague at an event organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism, with Banat Al-Quds in Kuwait, and at Ethno Sweden. Locally, she has played with the Arab Orchestra at numerous events.
